I don’t even know where to begin! Saturday was such a special wedding for me and I was so thrilled to capture the moments of Erin & AJ’s wedding. Not only is Erin a dear friend of mine from way back into probably elementary school but their wedding took place at the church that we both grew up in. This was my first wedding here and spending the day at the church brought back so many memories. And now, I have so many new memories in that place as I watched Erin and AJ laugh and cry throughout their wedding day. They were married at Clinton Memorial United Methodist Church and the very fun reception was held at Gettysvue Country Club in Knoxville.
I definitely have to give a shoutout to one of my new favorite florists! Leah McCall from Whimsical Gatherings did an AMAZING job on the flowers and they were just so very Erin that it truly complimented the day so well. Please visit her website!
Nothing like a little inspiration from Speidi…
The bridesmaids came up with an original song and dance to perform for Erin & AJ at the reception. Here they are practicing before Erin gets to the church…so cute…
This made me so nervous…
Erin didn’t want any of her bridesmaids to even see the dress before she was completely ready and could put it on and show them. I love the reactions on their faces as they see their friend for the first time…
Just as we got setup to do a picture in the hallway, Erin’s mom arrived at the church and I love this moment of mom seeing her daughter…
Erin is such a great model…
The guys had a good time picking AJ up…
Have you figured out that I was kind of in love with this wall?
Erin reading a note from AJ…
Erin snuck out of her room to listen to the beautiful music that had started. She looked so pretty in the light…
Tim Earl, pastor extraordinaire, pacing before the ceremony…
Here come the tears…
One of the best parts of the ceremony was when AJ put Erin’s ring on the wrong finger. It was pretty cute and something I am sure they will laugh about for years to come…
A few pictures at Gettysvue before heading into the reception…
The fabulous centerpieces & decor…
Remember that performance I told you about…
